Persuasive Writing Activities:

·       From reading A Christmas Story, consider Ralphie’s techniques to sell his parents on a Christmas gift of an air rifle.  (List the ways Ralphie tried to convince his parents.) Afterwards, draft a persuasive argument to sell your parents, husband, etc. on buying you a car, boat, dress or other wanted item for Christmas.
