ABOUT INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY/SPACE TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION

INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY/SPACE TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION has its basis (except for the Galileo Jupiter probe model) in a Report entitled MODEL SPACECRAFT CONSTRUCTION which was submitted to NASA on May 28, 1964 with an Addendum Report submitted July 1, 1966 by the California State College at Long Beach. The work done for NASA became a U.S. Government publication available from the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington D.C., 20402. Jerry Woodfill, NASA JSC, adapted the government document to the Internet in May of 1996.

Narrative descriptions of the space hardware have been updated using more recent NASA publications. The original drawings were drafted prior to landing men on the Moon. More information about the original printed version of the document is available by clicking here.
